Last week’s edition of the practice tournament (nations league) had 10 countries represented. Uganda 🇺🇬 was represented by 4 players. Followed by Nigeria 🇳🇬 & Ghana 🇬🇭 represented by 3 players each. Colombia 🇨🇴, France 🇫🇷 & Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 were represented by 2 players each. The remaining 4 countries Benin 🇧🇯, Czech Republic 🇨🇿, Germany 🇩🇪 & the UK 🇬🇧 were represented by one player each.
This week Nigeria 🇳🇬 overtook Colombia 🇨🇴 to move into 2nd place. The ranking of the countries in terms of points for this tournament stood at: 1st Nigeria 🇳🇬 (17), 2nd Uganda 🇺🇬 (12.5), 3rd Ghana 🇬🇭(11), 4th Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 (8), 5th France 🇫🇷 (5.0), 6th Benin 🇧🇯 (4.0), 7th Germany 🇩🇪 (4.0), 8th Colombia 🇨🇴 (3.5) Czech Republic 🇨🇿 (3.0), UK 🇬🇧 (2.0)
With 7 editions to go, team Uganda 🇺🇬 continues to pull ahead with a slightly increased 397.5 points lead against Colombia, the nearest contender. Team Uganda 🇺🇬 continues to consolidate its lead, making sure their numbers compensate for the lack of top positions & thus points.
We implore all members to take part in these practice tournaments. Don’t just wait for a championship to come around to familiarise yourself with the sign up process. For as has been shown, doing so once is not enough to guarantee you will be able to sign up on the day of a championship.
