*The numbers in the brackets indicate the number of players that have represented each country.*
Last week’s edition of the practice tournament (nations league) had 11 countries represented. Colombia 🇨🇴 with 4 players. Followed by Uganda 🇺🇬 with 3 players. Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 & the UK 🇬🇧 with 2 players each. Finally Antigua & Barbuda 🇦🇬, Belarus 🇧🇾, Bénin 🇧🇯, Czech Republic 🇨🇿, Germany 🇩🇪, Kyrgyzstan 🇰🇬, Nigeria 🇳🇬 represented by one player each.
This week there were no changes in the nations league ranking order. New players are signing up very slowly. This week saw one new player, ocato representing Benin 🇧🇯 participate for the first time. Players representing countries yet to field a player is proving to be not so forthcoming. The all time number of countries represented remains at 24. Three of the participating players countries are yet to be ascertained.
With 17 editions to go till this season’s nations league end, and a 342.5 points lead against Colombia’s 230.5 points team Uganda 🇺🇬 gaining on average 14 points weekly, it is will be a shocker for any team to overtake them. Colombia 🇨🇴 for instance will have to field 11 players on average for the remaining weeks. These players will have to again on average 3 points each, total 33 to make up the difference and overtake team Uganda 🇺🇬. Any other country’s team will have to do much more.
