A very insightful conference on the worlds interest on twho all agreed that Awale has iys place among the classic and intellectual he African board game Awale. Academics and players met to inform the world their Research and the game being played in their respective countries. from my perspective a very successful conference .which leaves us more work to do in promoting Awale. it was good to see many friends we havre met over the twenty five years imparting their knowledge on the panel .namely: Jean Retchitski Guy Sepahai ,Oba Collins Ngoufo Gnazmi Xavier Blanvillian and Serge Mbaga . it was avery rich panel of enthusiatic researchers and gamers who all agreed that Awale was among the best intellectual games in the world.

It was a surprise with a few gate crashers in the Championship eagerly fighting for the crown position but as we know the players KZKZ888 and Serik are seasoned Toguz players and would be hard to beat. Con gratulations to Alim aka KZKZ88 for pushing Serik in his games after being offered draws several times did not heed to the bait and fought through to win. Players be warned offering a Draw does not help your position!

Congratulations to Xavier who has been one our ardent supporters for over 15 years. We are happy to see Oware being brought to a crescendo in artificial intelligence. We will certainly have fun trying to beat the programme!
